BMO Accelerator Notes are an investment solution designed to provide investors with the opportunity to generate an enhanced (or “accelerated”) return based on the price performance of a Reference Asset. The return profile for Accelerator Notes highlights the opportunity for an “accelerated” upside typically over the short to medium-term. The “Look-Back” feature has been designed to reduce the need for investors to “time” an investment in equity markets or some other Reference Asset. For Notes including this feature, the “Initial Level” (or starting point) used to calculate the return on the Notes will be the lowest closing level or value of the Reference Asset during an initial pre-defined period (called the “Look-Back Period”). The Reference Asset could be an index, ETF, basket of securities or other asset.
