BMO Accelerator Notes are an investment solution designed to provide investors with the opportunity to generate an enhanced (or “accelerated”) return, while mitigating some of the downside risks with a Protection Buffer, based on the price performance of a Reference Asset. The Accelerator Note with Buffer protection return profile highlights the opportunity for an “accelerated” upside typically over the short to medium-term and benefits from a downside “buffer” that fully protects against a decline in the Reference Asset up to the Buffer Level and incremental losses beyond a decline below the Buffer Level when measured at Maturity. The Reference Asset could be an index, ETF, basket of securities or other asset. |
